The AVARRO WBXUSBE1 USB extender offers a dependable solution for extending USB connectivity within your security system. This extender allows you to connect USB devices, such as keyboards, mice, or storage drives, to a host computer located up to 200 meters away. This can be particularly beneficial in situations where security cameras are positioned far from the recording or monitoring equipment.
The WBXUSBE1 utilizes a single Cat-5E or Cat-6 cable (Cat-6 recommended) for signal transmission, eliminating the need for lengthy and expensive USB cables. This simplifies installation and reduces cable clutter, especially in complex security system setups. While functionality prioritizes low-power, low-speed USB devices, the extender maintains compliance with USB 2.0 specifications at shorter distances (less than 10 meters). This ensures compatibility with a range of commonly used security peripherals.
The WBXUSBE1 comes as a matched pair, consisting of a transmitter and a receiver unit. This ensures proper signal transmission and reception across the extended distance. Furthermore, the extender operates with low power consumption, minimizing its impact on your security system's overall power requirements. The combination of extended reach, ease of installation, and compatibility with various USB devices makes the WBXUSBE1 a reliable choice for enhancing the flexibility and functionality of your security system.
