The C-TEC XFP508X is a Mk1 loop-powered hush button for C-TEC XFP and ZFP addressable fire panels using the Apollo XP95/Discovery protocol. It sits on the communal fire panel's loop and gives an individual flat, apartment or HMO dwelling its own 2-minute silence facility (to BS 5839-6/12.2b) and 15-minute isolate facility (to BS 5839-6/12.2a). It reports its status back to the host panel.
Key features
- 2-minute silence and 15-minute isolate facilities to BS 5839-6
- Sits on the communal addressable fire panel's loop and reports its status to the host panel
- Own conventional detector circuit, conventional sounder circuit and loop isolator
- Fully monitored for open and short circuit faults
- Powered from the analogue loop
- Selectable 12.5mA, 20mA or 30mA alarm current (up to 20 hush buttons per loop, depending on loop drive current)
- Helps reduce false alarms and unnecessary building evacuations
- Mounts on a standard UK 25mm double gang back box
