The Eaton Cooper CAPT340 is an intelligent addressable photo-thermal sensor for Eaton's Cooper addressable fire systems.
It responds quickly to fast, clean-burning fires while keeping the advantage of an optical sensor for smouldering fires. Thermal enhancement allows a higher alarm threshold for better false-alarm rejection, and the sensor also raises an alarm at temperatures above 60°C.
Key features
- Combined optical smoke and heat sensing
- Day/night modes programmable from the site installer software: day mode uses the heat element for areas that may be smoky during working hours; night mode combines A2S heat and smoke detection. Defaults to dual mode if not programmed
- Soft addressed (auto address) with integral short circuit isolator
- 360° visibility LED using light-pipe technology
- Drift compensation
- Fits the common CAB300 standard base
