The FFE Fireray 3000 (3000-101) is an end-to-end infrared beam smoke detector system, EN version, for protecting large open areas with high ceilings and spaces where ceiling-mounted point detectors are hard to access. A transmitter projects an infrared beam to a separate receiver; when smoke crosses the beam and the signal falls below a pre-set threshold, an alarm is triggered.
A compact low-level controller with LCD display handles commissioning, testing and settings, and can power the transmitter directly. It suits narrow lines of sight and buildings with reflective surfaces, and its styling works in modern and heritage buildings alike. Fire and fault relays connect to a conventional fire alarm zone.
