The Hochiki ATJ-EN(SCI) is an intelligent multi-heat sensor with a built-in short-circuit isolator (SCI), in an ivory case, for the Hochiki ESP analogue addressable fire detection system. It combines a variable fixed-temperature heat element with a rate-of-rise heat element. Both are controlled from the fire alarm control panel, so either element, or both together, can be used to make the fire decision.
Key features
- Integral short-circuit isolator (YBV-R/4 base keeps the SCI function)
- User-selectable detection modes, set from the control panel
- Fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise heat elements
- Twin LEDs give 360° viewing: green when polling, amber when isolating, red in fire
- Polling LEDs can be set to pulsing or non-pulsing from the panel (control panel compatibility required)
- Electronically addressed
- LPCB and VdS approved to classes A1, B and C (ivory and white versions)
