Hochiki ESP Addressable Optical Smoke Detector (White Case) (ALN-EN(WHT))

The Hochiki ALN-EN(WHT) is an intelligent photoelectric (optical) smoke sensor in a white case, fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP analogue addressable protocol. It uses Hochiki's High Performance Chamber, which allows the alarm threshold to be raised, improving the signal-to-noise ratio and reducing susceptibility to false alarms, and removes the need for ionisation smoke sensors in most applications.

Key features

• Removable High Performance Chamber for easy cleaning or replacement
• Improved baffle design lets smoke in while keeping ambient light out
• Twin LEDs for 360° viewing - green when polling, red in fire
• Locking mechanism (sensor to base)
• Variable sensitivity
• Electronically addressed (e.g. with the TCH-B200 hand-held programmer)
• Pulsing/non-pulsing LED controlled from the panel (panel compatibility required)
• Approved by LPCB and VdS
