The Jewel FAN4P is a 150 x 200mm photoluminescent fire action notice (do not take risks version). Fire action notices set out what building occupants must do on discovering a fire or hearing the alarm, and are typically displayed next to fire alarm call points and along escape routes.
Key features
- Blue "Fire Action" panel for any person discovering a fire: sound the alarm, dial (space to add number) to call the fire brigade, attack the fire if possible using the appliances provided
- "On hearing the fire alarm" section: leave the building by the stated route (space to add), close all doors behind you, report to the assembly point (space to add)
- Red panel: "Do not take risks. Do not return to building for any reason until authorised to do so."
- Photoluminescent version; the same notice is also available from Jewel in rigid (FAN4R) and vinyl (FAN4V)
- Photoluminescent material glows after exposure to light, helping the notice remain visible if lighting fails
