The Kentec Sigma XT+ K21001M2 Extinguishant Coincidence Unit (ECU) is a self-contained extinguishant release control unit, designed in accordance with EN 12094-1. It receives activation signals on two supervised inputs from volt-free contacts on other fire detection panels or from addressable output modules. It can also be connected to a Kentec Sigma CP fire panel serial bus and be activated over that link.
The unit can be set for single-input or double-input (coincidence) activation. It has an integral mains-powered power supply and battery charger that meets EN 54-4, and is housed in an H2 size enclosure with room for 7 Ah batteries.
