A basic, surface-mounted internal speaker suitable for Grade 3 installations. Wiring internals are built on a PCB with wire clamping terminal blocks for quick and easy connection. 16 Ohm impedance, producing up to 92dB when driven at 12V. For tamper protection, a microswitch on the PCB detects removal of the product lid.
Must be connected to a suitable speaker output at the receiving equipment – this unit will not operate with only 12V DC input like a piezo buzzer would.
