A double end-push panic button suitable for Grade 3 installation, complete with integral resistor options for a 2-wire supervised circuit.
Accidental activation is prevented by requiring both buttons to be pressed simultaneously to trigger an alarm signal. When activated, an internal slide operates the microswitch and changes the flag indicator visible on the front of the unit. The alarm signal remains latched until the button is reset using the supplied key (part KEY10).
The internal PCB of this panic button features 4 wire-clamping terminal blocks for zone/tamper wiring, a breakaway back tamper, sprung microswitch lid tamper, and a 3-pin header that can be shunted to operate the button in NO or NC configuration. Additional shuntable headers allow for shared zone configuration and EOL resistor combinations as follows:
1k/1k
2k2/2k2
2k2/4k7
2k2/6k8
4k1/4k1 (Guardall 8k2)
4k7/4k7
4k7/6k8
5k6/5k6
The onboard resistors are optional – a '4-wire' option is available for a dry/resistorless circuit, or where specific resistors not available onboard are required.
