The Notifier NFX-SMT3-IV is an Opal NFX-series analogue addressable triple-technology detector that combines optical smoke, heat and infra-red (IR) flame sensing in one device. This is the ivory version without an isolator.
Its microprocessor algorithms combine the three sensing techniques, which gives a marked reduction in unwanted alarms and high immunity to interference. The detector can be programmed to work as heat-only at certain times, then return automatically to normal operation. Drift compensation adjusts for dirt building up in the chamber over time.
