The Paxton Switch2 is a standalone single-door access control unit supplied here with a 12V 1A power supply in a white plastic housing (Paxton sales code 242-166). The control unit is mounted on the secure side of the door and stores all user access permissions, so the door remains secure even if the reader is tampered with. It works with Paxton PROXIMITY, CARDLOCK and TOUCHLOCK readers and keypads.
