Confirmed hold-up alarms Man-down functionality Single and secondary radio channels Long range Man-Down Functionality The HUD-2R-RMT-LR supports man-down alarming, ensuring wearers’ protection at all times. A built-in sensor triggers an alarm when the wearer tilts by 45° for more than 15 seconds, acknowledging the risk that staff may have come to harm by way of a slip, fall or attack. This gives the wearer peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that somebody will be alerted even if they are incapacitated. When man-down functionality is active, a LED will flash every ten seconds, further reassuring wearers that their protection is a constant. Nonetheless, acknowledging that some activities require mobility, wearers do have the option to temporarily disable the tilt sensor for five minutes at a time. As such, the HUD-2R-RMT-LR is a versatile and dependable alarming device suitable for a wide range of use cases.
