The Scorpion 1011 (SCORP1011-001) from Detectortesters is a point smoke detector tester kit for hard-to-access detectors. The Scorpion head unit is permanently installed alongside a point-type smoke detector in places such as lift shafts, ceiling voids, secure rooms and high atria, and is triggered remotely from a Scorpion access point so the detector can be functionally tested without additional access equipment. It can be retrofitted or fitted when the system is installed.
