The System Sensor BEAMHKR is a heating kit for the reflector of System Sensor reflective beam smoke detectors, including the OSI-RE-SS. It lets the reflector operate in environments prone to condensation, which could otherwise cause trouble or false alarm conditions, by keeping the reflector slightly warmer than the surrounding air.
The heater attaches to the back of the reflector with pressure-sensitive adhesive and requires a 24V power supply. When used with the long-range reflector kit (BEAMLRK), four BEAMHKR kits are needed, wired in parallel.
