A Talentum 16000 series IR3 flame detector in a flameproof (Ex d) housing, FM / CSFM-approved version. Three infrared sensors respond to different wavelengths of the flickering (1-15 Hz) radiation emitted by flames, discriminating between real fires and other radiation sources.
