The Xtralis VESDA VSP-031 is the VLI Secondary Foam Filter, a genuine spare part for VESDA VLI industrial aspirating smoke detectors. In the VLI, part of the air sample passes through the sub-sampling probe and this secondary filter before reaching the detection chamber, so larger dust particles are exhausted rather than reaching the optics.
