The Xtralis VSP-955-04 is the replacement scanner manifold for the VESDA-E VES sector-addressable aspirating smoke detector. On the VES, the inlet manifold includes a valve mechanism that, under software control, switches airflow between the four sectors (pipes) so the detector can identify the first sector to reach alarm.
