The Xtralis VSP-980-B is a 6 mm standard sampling point in black for VESDA-E VEA addressable aspirating smoke detection systems, supplied singly. Each patented VEA sampling point connects to its own microbore tube so the detector can pinpoint the location of smoke.
Standard sampling points are designed for ceilings with a void: the microbore tubes run in the void and the sampling point is mounted in the ceiling, either screwed directly to the ceiling or fitted with the retainer supplied as standard. They allow blind mounting once the tubes are passed through the ceiling.
