The Xtralis VSP-982-B22 is a 6 mm surface mount sampling point in black for VESDA-E VEA addressable aspirating smoke detection systems, supplied as a pack of 22. Each patented VEA sampling point connects to its own microbore tube so the detector can pinpoint the location of smoke.
Surface mount sampling points are designed for use where access to the ceiling void is limited: the microbore tubes run along the ceiling in the protected area and the sampling points are screwed directly to the ceiling.
Key features
- Full supervision by the VEA detector for end-to-end integrity monitoring
- Automated cleaning by the detector
- Screws directly to the ceiling
- Suits 6 mm VEA microbore tube
- Easy replacement
- Xtralis states that VEA detectors, tubes and sampling points work as a complete system and VEA tubes and sampling points must be used with VEA detectors
