The Xtralis VTT-10000-UK Test Transformer (previously known as the Hot Wire Test PSU) is a tool for smoke testing very early warning aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems. It passes a high current through a test cable, heating it until the insulation burns and produces smoke. This is the UK version.
