The Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore (XCL-LB-CO2VV-RM) is an aspirated carbon dioxide (CO2) gas detector that fits in-line in a standard aspirating smoke detection (ASD) pipe network, with Modbus RTU output and relays. It uses the airflow in the pipe to deliver multi-point gas sampling, giving gas detection for occupant protection and process monitoring alongside fire protection.
Key features
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) sensor, 1.0 to 5.0% v/v
- Modbus RTU output plus 2 configurable relays (alarm, fault)
- Multi-point aspirated sampling through the ASD pipe network for greater coverage than a fixed point detector
- Remote sampling: the detector can sit outside the protected zone for safe, convenient servicing
- Integral alarm status LEDs and gas port for bump testing and calibration
- Field-replaceable gas sensor cartridge
- Bluetooth pairing with the Sensepoint app for commissioning and maintenance
- Modbus version can be monitored in Xtralis VSC and VSM4, and networked to the Sensepoint 301C gas controller for extra relays
