The Videx 849ZG is a surface mount proximity reader for the Videx VProx access control system, made from die-cast aluminium in a dark grey finish with a polycarbonate reader window. It connects to a VProx control unit and reads proximity fobs and cards at 20 to 50 mm.
The reader hooks onto a wall plate and is locked in place with a screw using the Allen key provided. Videx recommends mounting it about 160 cm from the ground.
