The Xtralite NiteSafe™ emergency torch (black, XL20714) is a plug-in rechargeable LED torch that sits in an induction charging cradle in a standard UK wall socket. While docked it gives a gentle automatic orange night light in the dark, and if the mains supply fails the top LED switches on automatically to provide emergency light during a power cut. It can be lifted out at any time for use as a handheld torch, making it a simple safety light for hallways, stairways, bedrooms, kitchens, garages and sheds.
