The Advanced EX-3020 is a Remote Status Indicator (RSI) for the ExGo gas extinguishing system, the display-only version without manual release or key switch. It repeats the status of an ExGo EX-3000 series extinguishing control panel at a remote location on a graphic LCD and 12 LED indicators, and communicates with the panel over an RS485 link.
ExGo extinguishing systems detect fire in the same way as a fire alarm system but also control the release of an extinguishing agent into the protected area. They are used mainly where assets of high value or strategic importance need protecting, such as computer suites and telecom switch rooms.
