The Advanced LEG-CINE/AU is a spare legend for the Cine-LED exit sign luminaire, showing the European Signs Directive (EC) format running man with an arrow pointing up. It replaces the legend on an existing Cine-LED fitting, for example when the escape route direction changes or the legend is damaged.
On the Cine-LED the black opaque legend stays hidden unless illuminated, which keeps light emission low in places such as theatres, cinemas, school halls and photography rooms. Advanced notes that the legend is not fully compliant with BS 5499 Pt 4 or ISO 7010; where a green-on-black sign is used, this should be documented and reviewed in the fire risk assessment.
