The Advanced MX-4020 is an MxPro 4 series Remote Control Terminal (RCT) with a standard network interface, running from a 24V DC supply. It uses the same graphical LCD user interface and flash-based microprocessor technology as the MxPro 4 fire panels, and communicates with them over the same 2-core Ad-NeT network cable. The MxPro 4 range is now listed by Advanced as obsolete, so this unit suits existing MxPro 4 networks.
Sector-based Evacuate, Silence, Resound and Reset keys let networked panels respond selectively to its controls. For example, on a multi-building site a user can silence and reset fires in their own building, while fires in other buildings are displayed but cannot be reset.
