The Aico Ei650iRF is a battery powered optical smoke alarm from the Aico 600 Series with built-in RadioLINK+ wireless interconnection. Its optical chamber is best for detecting slow, smouldering fires, such as those from electrical faults or sofas, and is less likely to react to cooking fumes in a hallway next to a kitchen.
It has a sealed-in lithium battery for the full 10-year life of the alarm and interconnects wirelessly with other Aico RadioLINK, RadioLINK+ and SmartLINK products. The alarm is not powered until it is twisted onto its base, avoiding battery drain in storage.
