The Apollo XPA-OH-13032-APO is the XPander Multisensor Detector (optical/heat) head for Apollo's XPander wireless range. It is a thermally enhanced smoke detector, more sensitive than an optical detector to fast burning, flaming fires, and will not alarm from heat alone. It fits the XPander address (wireless) module XPA-WB-10022-APO.
XPander is Apollo's wireless range: devices communicate with an XPander interface wired to an XP95 or Discovery loop, using a bi-directional monitored radio platform at 868MHz, and each device is recognised by the control panel like any wired loop device. It suits heritage and architecturally sensitive buildings, rapid retrofits and temporary systems where cabling is impractical.
