The Ceasefire CF-000782U is a 50 litre low pressure Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) extinguisher with a red stainless steel container mounted on a trolley. A 6 litre compressed air cartridge drives the AFFF foam solution to a squeeze grip gun, which breaks it into a fine watermist foam that turns to steam in the fire zone, cools the fire and stops it spreading, while the foam blankets the flames.
The mist also acts as a barrier against radiant heat, giving extra protection to the operator. It is suitable for Class A and B fires, including petrol and diesel, and for electrically started fires.
