The Ceasefire CF-001493B is a 15kg ceiling mounted automatic extinguisher from the M-Series range, filled with the clean agent Fluoroketone (FK-5-1-12) in a red mild steel cylinder. It is fitted with a sprinkler-style discharge head with a 68°C quartzoid bulb and a non-return valve (NRV). When the bulb reaches its rated temperature it breaks and the agent discharges automatically, with no power supply or human intervention needed. Being ceiling mounted, it uses no floor space and is out of reach of tampering.
M-Series units can also be actuated electrically by adding a Metron actuator and connecting them to detectors via a control panel, so several units can work together as a total flooding system. A pressure port allows the unit to be made monitorable with an optional pressure switch.
