The Eaton BiWire Ultra EFBW5IN1DET is a 5 in 1 multi-mode detector for Eaton's BiWire two-wire fire alarm system. Using the four-position switch on the back of the detector it can be set to work as an optical smoke detector, a photo-thermal detector or one of three heat detectors (rate of rise and two fixed temperature settings), and it is certified for use in all five modes. It fits Eaton's standard conventional base (EFXN520, supplied separately).
