The Eaton FXN922 is a conventional multi-mode (5 in 1) detector for Eaton conventional fire systems. Using the four-position switch on the back of the detector it can be set as an optical smoke detector, a photo-thermal detector or one of three heat detectors (rate of rise and two fixed temperature settings), and it is certified for use in all five modes. It is also compatible with JSB Bi-Wire systems. It mounts on the standard conventional base EFXN520 (supplied separately).
Key features
- Five modes in one detector: optical smoke, photo-thermal, rate of rise, fixed heat 77°C and fixed heat 92°C
- Mode set by switches on the back of the detector
- Approved to EN 54-5 and EN 54-7
- 360° viewable LED using lightpipe technology; red LED indicates alarm
- Self-check features and drift compensation
- Low profile design, quick and simple to install
- Positive click indication when correctly located in the base
- Optional locking facility to prevent removal without a special tool
