The Eaton VoCALL 16 TA16-RS is a red, surface mounted digital Type A outstation for the VoCALL 16 digital emergency voice communication system (EVCS). Type A outstations are handset-based fire telephones: lift the handset to call the panel, and the panel can dial the outstation number to call it.
It is soft addressed and connects on the VoCALL 16 4 core loop in any order with Type B and Emergency Assist Alarm outstations, with short circuit isolation to keep the rest of the loop working if a fault occurs. Digital audio with automatic volume control gives clear speech for firefighting and evacuation management.
