Edwards SIGI-CC1SI Synchronisation Output Module w/ Isolator

The Edwards SIGI-CC1SI is a Signature Series synchronisation output module with an integrated isolator, for the Edwards EST4 life safety control platform (EN54) and other Edwards Signature analogue addressable systems. It is used for strobe synchronisation.

It connects a supervised output circuit to a 24 Vdc riser on command from the Signature loop controller, operating polarised audible and visual appliances that have an adjustable resynchronising feature. The output wiring is monitored for open and short circuits, and a short circuit causes the panel to inhibit activation so the riser is not connected to the wiring fault.

Key features

• Connects a supervised output circuit to a 24 Vdc riser
• Drives polarised audible/visual appliances with resynchronisation
• Output wiring monitored for open and short circuits
• Short circuit inhibits activation to protect the riser
• Integrated line fault isolator
• Function set by an installer-selected personality code downloaded from the Signature loop controller
• All decisions are made at the module, giving very fast control panel response
• Signature Series intelligent device with on-board microprocessor (distributed intelligence)
• Self-diagnostics and history log stored in non-volatile memory
• Automatic device mapping by the Signature loop controller
• Fast, stable digital communication - shielded or twisted wiring is not required
