This FFE Fireray 3000 detector pack (3000-015) contains a transmitter and receiver to add a second end-to-end beam detector to an existing Fireray 3000 system. Each Fireray 3000 controller supports single or twin detector configurations, with separate fire and fault relays for each detector.
The transmitter projects an infrared beam to the receiver; when smoke crosses the beam and the signal falls below a pre-set threshold, an alarm is triggered. The receiver has an integral laser so one person can align the pair.
