Product details

The FFE Fireray 3000 Ex d (3000-115) is an explosion-proof end-to-end infrared beam smoke detector system for large areas with potentially explosive atmospheres. The transmitter and receiver are ATEX certified for use in Group 2 hazardous areas, while the wall-mounted low-level control unit sits in a safe area so adjustment and testing can be done from a non-hazardous location.

It is designed for large enclosures within oil rigs, refineries, ordnance stores, chemical plants and similar premises, giving early warning of smouldering or smoky fires that flame detectors may not pick up. Fire and fault relays connect to a conventional fire alarm zone.
