The FFE Fireray 5000 (5000-039) is a single Fireray 5000 motorised reflective, auto-aligning infrared beam smoke detector for long-range use (up to 100 m). The detector combines the infrared transmitter and receiver in one unit and projects a beam to a reflective prism, which returns it for analysis. When smoke in the beam path reduces the signal below a set level, it signals an alarm.
The detector works with a Fireray 5000 system controller, which can run up to two detectors. It is well suited to large open areas where point detection would be difficult or costly to install.
