The Fike FlameSpec IR3 flame simulator kit (FIK-FSIM-IR3-KIT) is used to functionally test FlameSpec IR3 triple-IR hydrocarbon flame detectors. The simulator emits IR radiation in a controlled pattern that the detector recognises as a flame, allowing periodic testing in situ without taking the detector out of service.
