The HAES MZAOV-3002 is a plug-in add-on card for HAES MZAOV multi-zone automatic opening vent (AOV) control panels. It adds PIR and rain sensor inputs, plus a 0-10V positional control input and positional data output for connection to a building management system (BMS).
A PIR input can be used to stop a vent closing while someone is detected nearby, guarding against entrapment injury. The rain sensor input lets the panel close vents when rain is detected.
