The OMNIKEY 5427CK Reader supports both low and high frequency credentials and can be operated using Bluetooth and NFC, allowing customers to use their mobile access credentials to access computers, networks or the cloud via their mobile phone. It utilises Secure Identity Object (SIO) to provide solutions that are secure, technology-independent and flexible, making it ideal for mixed technology environments.
The OMNIKEY 5427CK is fully compliant with FIDO2 standards to enable secure, passwordless employee authentication for workstations and applications. The reader supports robust multifactor authentication (MFA) by using public key cryptography, enhancing security against phishing and credential theft.
