The Hochiki FIRElink-400 is a four-pipe aspirating (air sampling) smoke detector for very high sensitivity smoke detection, with built-in immunity to dust and dirt build-up. Hochiki positions it as its high-capacity FIRElink unit for large areas up to 4000 m², such as warehouses, factories and open spaces.
It sets itself to the best sensitivity for the protected environment without complex set-up, and can tell "dirty" and "clean" operating periods apart (such as day and night), switching sensitivity automatically. Volt-free Fire 1 and Fault relays allow monitoring by a fire panel or BMS, and an FL-APIC card connects it to a Hochiki ESP addressable loop. All FIRElink detectors are LPCB approved to EN54-20:2006 Classes A, B and C.
