The Honeywell 04390-31 is a wall-mounted 24 V DC electromagnetic door holder. It holds fire doors open and releases them automatically when power is removed, for example when the fire alarm operates, so the doors close to stop the spread of fire and smoke.
Key features
- Spring-loaded release pin in the centre of the electromagnet pushes the door away on power-off, overcoming residual magnetism
- Integral push button for manual release and testing
- Low-profile design
- Supplied with a door-mounted keeper plate
- Designed to EN 61000-3-2, EN 50081-1, EN 60950 and EN 1155 (CPD approved)
- DC unit with suppression diode and reverse polarity protection, so it can run from a reverse-polarity monitored circuit
