The Honeywell 582408.FD (FE 165.1) is a fire dome (rear cover) for the 6.5" 582408 and 582408.SAFE recessed ceiling loudspeakers. It increases passive safety: if the loudspeaker cone blows out in a fire, the dome prevents the chimney-suction effect through suspended ceilings. Together with the loudspeaker it is certified to EN 54-24.
