The Honeywell 583520 DCS plus is a digital call station for the VARIODYN D1 voice alarm system, for routine and emergency paging. It selects loudspeaker zones and broadcasts live announcements, gongs and alarms. It connects to the VARIODYN D1 DOM and Comprio controllers over a standard CAT5 cable, which carries all control signals, up to four simultaneous audio signals and power. Single or redundant cabling runs up to 300 m, or up to 20 km with fibre-optic cabling.
