The Honeywell LT-SEN-M-L is a Li-ion Tamer GEN2+ (G2+) monitoring sensor for lithium-ion battery off-gas detection. Off-gas events occur early in the failure of a lithium-ion cell, and detecting them very early allows mitigation steps to be taken before a catastrophic thermal runaway.
Honeywell supplies this sensor for existing Li-ion Tamer G2+ legacy systems only; new installations use the Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 range.
