Notifier Opal Heat Detector Fixed 78°C c/w Isolator
The Notifier Opal Heat Detector Fixed 78°C c/w Isolator is part of the advanced Notifier Opal analogue addressable detection range, designed for fast response and reliable heat detection. Using low mass thermistor technology combined with microprocessor control, the detector provides accurate and linear temperature sensing.
The Opal NFXI-TFIX58 and NFXI-TFIX78 are fixed temperature heat detectors designed to respond at 58°C (Class A1S) and 78°C (Class BS) respectively. Their linear temperature response allows them to detect heat conditions accurately across a wide temperature range.
The Opal NFXI-TDIFF heat detector incorporates rate of rise detection, activating an alarm when temperature increases exceed 10°C per minute or when the temperature reaches 58°C (Class A1R).
Notifier's Opal protocol allows flexible software configuration. Devices can be configured as:
• Fixed 58°C heat detector
• Fixed 78°C heat detector
• 58°C rate of rise heat detector
For backwards compatibility and approval continuity, all three versions remain available as separate part numbers.
All Opal heat detectors feature panel controllable sensing elements through the Opal protocol, allowing sensitivity adjustments to suit changes in environmental conditions. This provides enhanced flexibility and improved false alarm management.
The detectors include built in short circuit isolation and dual tri colour LEDs providing 360° visual indication of device status. LED indications include static or flashing red, amber, and green.
