The VXI-R is our standard wireless motion detector. The VXI series is our best-selling range of outdoor intrusion detectors. It provides highly reliable proximity detection with a range of up to 12 m for residential and commercial applications. The sensor, which must be mounted at a height of around 1.2 m, comprises two PIRs offering a double-layer detection zone: the sensor will only trigger when both layers are activated. VXI PIR sensors feature animal immunity and digital analysis to reduce false alarms.
