The Fire Beam Xtra (FIREBEAM-XTRA) from The Fire Beam Company is a conventional reflective optical beam smoke detector with a motorised, auto-aligning head and a hard-wired low-level controller. It covers 7 to 70 metres as standard. You commission, test and maintain it from the controller at floor level, so you don't need to work at height. It connects to conventional fire alarm systems, and to analogue addressable systems through additional interface modules.
Key features
- Motorised beam head with auto-alignment technology
- Low-level wired controller for commissioning, changing operating modes, maintenance, diagnostics, adjustments and fire tests
- Standard range of 7–70 m, extendable to 160 m with extension kits
- Anti-condensation reflector and extension kit variants available
- Ultra-low power consumption; continuously self-checking
- VdS approved to EN 54-12
