The Ziton ZX832-3B is a black addressable optical/heat multi-criteria detector for Ziton ZP7 compatible fire alarm systems. It combines high-sensitivity smoke and thermal sensors with fuzzy logic algorithms to give earlier warning of fire while discriminating against false alarms, making it suited to sites that need the highest level of alarm integrity.
Key features
- Multi-criteria sensing combines rate-of-change patterns and absolute smoke and heat levels to identify real fires
- User-selectable algorithms to match the response to each hazard, with day/night switching
- Advanced self-test excites the smoke chamber as though smoke were present, testing the full sensor and panel communication
- Automatic compensation for dirt, temperature, humidity, voltage fluctuation and long-term contamination
- Standard ZP7 addressing by DIP switches, with up to 127 devices per ZP7 loop
- Low-profile design; plugs into a surface or semi-recessed base with an automatic locking facility
- Built-in red alarm LED and remote indicator output
- Black finish
- EN 54-5 and EN 54-7 approved, CPR certified
